When you enter the Old Town of Yazd, the colors, the architecture and the lifestyle make you feel that you have set foot in the pages of an ancient book of the old Persian. This city which is located in the center of Iran, has been placed along the Silk Road and is always famous for its hand-woven fabrics of Silk, Cotton and Velvet.

At Yazd, there are no great palaces as at Persepolis, no pasture and no greenery. It is the capital of the clay domes, aeration towers (budgir), cisterns (Ab-Anbâr), caravanserais, oases, towers of Zoroastrian silence, and pure starry nights.
